    Note: This course introduces general modeling and analysis tools for wall panels. While references will be made to how these tools apply across different material types, material-specific design considerations for wood, masonry, or concrete walls will not be covered in this session. Future training sessions will address these materials and their associated workflows in detail.

The course covers the complete workflow, from initial modeling to interpreting results, with an emphasis on real-world application and efficiency.

Meet the instructor

Tim Barton, PE

Tim graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Utah State University. After graduating, Tim worked as a consulting engineer for 7 years designing heavy industrial steel structures, rooftop facilities for telecom industries, commercial CMU buildings, and timber building retrofits. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Utah.
