The RISAFoundation Mat Slab Design Course is 1.5 hours of hands-on, on-demand training that focuses on the analysis and design of mat slabs. The instructor will discuss slab geometry tools such as thickened regions, openings, and analysis offsets as well as how RISAFoundation handles the automatic generation of finite element plates. Additional tips and tricks will be provided for applying design strip widths and analyzing design cuts. The course is aimed at users who are familiar with the RISAFoundation and are interested in diving deeper into the specifics of mat slab design.

Allan Mitchell, PE
Allan is a Technical Sales Engineer at RISA who helps customers find the right software to solve their problems. After completing a Bachelor of Science in Structural Engineering from the University of Maryland, Allan used RISA products for ten years as a designer before joining the team. He is excited to share his experience with you!
