Course overview
The Quick Start Course is a 4-hour hands-on introduction to the basic features and functionality of RISA-3D that utilizes expert instruction and example models to familiarize users with the user interface as well as the main workflow of modeling, loading, analyzing, designing and documenting a model in RISA-3D. Spread out over 2 days (with an optional office hour session) the course is aimed at users who are new to RISA-3D, however, the tips and tricks provided by the instructor during the session can prove valuable to even the most proficient user.

Meet the instructor
Laura Cable
Laura is a technical marketing engineer at RISA. Prior to joining RISA, she worked in various sectors of the AEC industry including as a structural design engineer for over 5 years. She designed a wide range of projects in this role including construction equipment, bleachers, and up to 3 story buildings. She is excited to bring this expertise to help users get the most out of their RISA software for many different applications!
