Course overview
The Quick Start Course is a 4-hour hands-on introduction to the basic features and functionality of RISA-3D that utilizes expert instruction and example models to familiarize users with the user interface as well as the main workflow of modeling, loading, analyzing, designing and documenting a model in RISA-3D. Spread out over 2 days (with an optional office hour session) the course is aimed at users who are new to RISA-3D, however, the tips and tricks provided by the instructor during the session can prove valuable to even the most proficient user.

Meet the instructor
Alexis Moser, P.E.
Alexis Moser is a Solutions Engineer at RISA. She is a licensed Professional Engineer in Washington and California, with eight years of experience in the AEC industry prior to joining RISA. Her background is primarily in structural building design, with a focus on K–12 and commercial structures. Throughout her engineering career, she has been especially proud of projects that made a meaningful impact on their communities and valued these indirect opportunities to help students discover new interests and passions. Alexis brings that same enthusiasm for teaching, community, and mentorship to her work at RISA, where she is dedicated to helping users unlock the full potential of their software across a wide range of applications.
